As part of a solo project, I was tasked with rebranding the local theatre company MT Pockets. This included developing a new brand identity, creating a comprehensive style guide, and redesigning its website.

What keeps a local business from becoming a brand? It’s the vibe. Without a cohesive visual and verbal identity, there’s nothing for an audience to recognize, remember, or connect with. MT Pockets had the personality- it just needed an identity to match.

Problem:

MT Pockets had a distinct personality and loyal community, but its visual identity didn’t fully communicate what made the theater unique.

Insight:

The theater didn’t need a new personality—it needed an identity that better expressed the one it already had.

Solution:

Build a cohesive brand identity around MT Pockets’ existing character, then carry it across its visual system, website, and promotional materials.
